Which stores offer free SIM cards and activations?

Looking to activate a new line, does anyone know which stores offer free SIM cards and activations? Sadly there aren't any Public Mobile kiosks nearby. Are there currently any in-store promotions being offered?

From my understanding, not all Walmarts offer free SIM card with activation.  Depends on store and representative.  Several Walmarts do offer free SIM card because of the commission involved with in store activation.  Does not hurt to ask though.....

Walmart offers free sim card and activation. if you have refer code, you will get 10 dollar credit to your account, and you will see within 48 hours after activation.
