Whats the point of 90 day plan if 30 day plan is the same price?

I would expect 90 day plan to be cheaper because you pay upfront for longer time but so far it seems that the price is the same for 30 day plan equivalent 90 day plan divided by 3.

Could someone please explain?

It’s a lot cheaper to be on a 90 day plan with PM than it is to be paying for 3 months with bell or Rogers. I love my service and it’s a great price

Public needs to stop comparing apples to oranges.  The other carriers have apples.  Public Mobile has oranges and grapefruits.

You know what I mean when I use the word month.  It is not actual calendar month, it is a Public Mobile month.  Maybe call it the lunar month.

@John_Dobski, last year PM used to have plans a few bucks cheaper if you went on the 90 day option.  Would be nice to even just get at least $1 off, but I guess PM felt there wasn't a need since there are a number of other rewards available.  Now it's just a matter of consumer preference.  I personally prefer the 90 days, allows me to forecast my overall budget a little more and be able to see my community reward get built up because there are months where I know I won't be able to be as active, and then the months where I can I go all out, and when that 90th day comes the bill is pretty reasonable.  I feel like with a 90 day option you have a bit more control over the amount you pay.

@stonechucker, that's hilarious, but very true, lol.

The only data that carries over is the add-on data.  The included data with a plan has never carried over past a renewal.  So the advantage of 90 day plans was the data was available to use over a longer period of time.  Many of us are on the 12GB/90 days plan.  This is much more flexible than getting 4GB/30 days.  For a long time now, Public Mobile has stopped promoting 90 day plans although they haven't gone as far as completely removing the option from the system.  The rationale given was the customer were confused by the concept.  Month to month is easy to understand, 90 days not such much.

@John_Dobski, the amount of Data on a 90-day plan, is for the entire 90-day period.

You can use it all at once, or keep it all until the end.  It's up to you.

It does not continue to the next 90-day period.

Does Data not carry over from month to month?

90 day plans used to be cheaper. I agree there's no incentive any more.

Some people like the idea of their data bucket lasting for 90 days, but I personally don't have a need for this.
