@JeffH Well, the only way to rectify it is to either buy another add-on or renew your plan early. You said you are not buying another add-on, so that leaves you with no other options other than to:
- Renew your plan early if your basic plan has data
- Do without data until your plan renews (if you have a plan with data - other than the add-on you purchased.)

@JeffH as mentioned above checkyour phones data usage, I would disable background data usage ( i know instagram can use up lots, happened to someone here teh other day)
instead of buying an addon you can also ask the mods to renew your plan early assumiing you are on a data plan not talk and text. often renewing a plan early is cheaper /gb thanthe data addons. also there is a great promo out now 4.5gb/30 days for $40.

500mb is very little data and can be used up in minutes if something is updating on cell data (not wifi) especially without your knowledge its the worst. This is why my phone has a firewall and I disable most apps data usage / backround data / mobile data access unless on wifi.
Check your phone data usage tracker (built into the phone) something along the line of settings, network, data usage to see if what used up all the data since your phone keeps a full record including which app and day by day.
If you find the culprit you need to set network restrictions on mobile network / get a firewall you don't even need to root your device to get a firewall. Even sometimes when you are at home on wifi your signal can be poor / go down and your phone will automatically switch to mobile data while watching youtube and not even realize it.
If you have not used any data and confirmed it was not your phone and your add-on has magically disappeared I would suggest contacting a @CS_Agent to look into it, but before that check yourself locally on your phone as a lot of people don't realize their phone used up all their data without their knowledge or permission or they left hotspot / tethering on and their computer (windows) updated in the back round since wifi does not automatically get set as "metered" connection
