I just switched to public mobile. How do i check to see if volte is working. Can send and receive text but not phone calls.

Is your old SIM Card still working or has it lost reception now?
It can take up to 90 mins for all features to work normally after porting your number in from another Service Provider.

Tried in different location connected to different tower and phone calls worked. Is there anything i can do to check why it wouldn't work from the previous tower. That was working fine until i switched to public mobile

That phone should be fine for talk.

Here is list of VoLTE compiled by @MetaMorpheusMob yesterday of phones that was confirmed to work on VoLTE:
I don’t see any Huawei phones on the list.

@brianshort You can try to resetting network settings first or try network on 3G see if it help for voice . Otherwise please submit ticket with support to investigate

Stayed on lte but call still didn't work

What make and model phone do you have?

@brianshort You can check by putting your phone network to LTE and make a phone call does it stay on LTE or drop to 3 G if it’s stays in LTE voLTE is enabled on your phone and account
Adding if you can’t make or receive calls you may need support to re provision the SIM for you in there end.
