Voicemail not active when keep pressing '1'

goolo
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

When I keep preesing '1', voicemail does not connect, it is inactive. However, when I dial my own 10 digits number, voicemail works properly. I reset the voicemail, reset mobile network, restart the phone to no avail. This feature was working properly with my old carrier, and since porting to PM, this problem showed up. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy A35. Any suggestion appreciated.

Try Reset network settings on the phone and it should update the 1 to call Voicemail

but if it does not, then you have to manually assign the VM number.  Go to Phone app, Settings, and Look for Voicemail access number.  Then manually program it.   For the actual number itself, check this page and choose one in your province:

@goolo I assume you are pressing and holding the 1 for a second? It sounds like your number isn't set in the phone app. Normally if you don't have a number in there, it will prompt you for one. Have you used voicemail on this phone before? Have you tried a force stop and clear cache on the phone app?
