Voicemail isn't working - Line error

Hello,

I've set up a personal greeting. It's stored on the voicemail. When I call my phone number it rings for a long time then gives a beeping and a 'Line Error'. It does not give the option to leave a voicemail.

Can someone please assist? I've just bought a new SIM card, just registered this number within the past 24 hours.

Hi all,

Android Phone, Samsung Galaxy Edge S7. It's a new number, not ported. Not sure what you mean about multiple greetings. I see they give the option for personal/business/etended leave. I set up the Personal Greeting and want this to be active. But it only gives line busy error.

Did you use your mobile phone to set up a greeting?

Sometimes setting greeting can be confusing as you have to set up 'real' greeting and 'you reached this-and-this number' from different parts of a system.

Had a hell of a time to remove 'you reached...' message from my vmail but it is possible.

Iphone or Android? Iphone has a new thing called something like live voicemail. Maybe turn it off if on.

@DanielJD , did you transfer in a phone number from your old provider?  Did you receive notification from your old provider and acknowledge the number transfer?
