VoLTE calling compatability list - Samsung Note 10

Will the Volte compatability list every get updated for the samsung note 10?

I know the note 10 supports this calling method. In a recent trip to the states (I've got a North America calling plan) i was made painfully aware of this discrepancy, now looking into changing plans if I can't call.

Most frustratingly I cannot see missed calls to respond via text. Texting and data work but all 3G related services do not... so no calling on 3G networks. Only LTe calling (4G)

Public Mobile should provide an updated list or compatibility tool for its prospective and current customers. Any new customer who ports in and loses their old plan will have a legitimate complaint of " bait and switch, imo.

Having said that, an old phone without VoLTE will probably become obsolete with all carriers as the trend is to move away from 3G. A six year old phone has a deteriorated battery and security vulnerabilities. Time to look for a newer phone.

note 10 was released in 2019, it has been close to 6 years.  I doubt PM will update the VoLTE list to phones that far back.  

Since the phone is 6 years old and Samsung has ended the security update support since August 2023, it is really to your best interest to consider getting a newer phone. 

With Samsung, PM only supports VoLTE for Samsung S22 and after

I assume that eventually they will update the list, but it came to  understand that it's not actually Public Mobile who is responsible for whether the phone wil have 3G or not. 

It's actually the phone manufacture who has to update their firmware to include the various information. Once the phone manufacturer updates this information, then Public Mobile will update to the list accordingly.
