Video game ping is suddenly really bad

I frequently hotspot my PC to play games like Valorant and League of Legends. My ping used to be very stable at around 40-50ms. Ever since a couple of days ago my ping has been unplayable at 200ms and constantly going up and down. I initially thought it was my PC hotspot connection but when I try connecting from just my phone it was also really bad. I have an iPhone 16 Pro. Appreciate any help!

try Reboot phone and click Reset network settings

also, test using only 4G or LTE as well and see if any difference

@CloudUser123  Your not alone many here have complained about playing games on public mobile data is just not up to par . Telus has better internet for playing games public just ok for checking email and aiding the web . But it’s also why public mobile is tier 3 provider and typical cheaper plan price with  as you found out  some caveats wifi the lack of wifi calling and no live support are couple other examples of a bottom of the barrel service provider
