If this is not starting until March 1st 2027 why are older phones having issues suddenly now? My LG velvet has worked perfectly fine with public mobile since I switched over in January. So it was compatible. Suddenly now it is not? Someone in another thread mentioned it started in March of this year so, which year is it really?

I know it's old but I love it. Have had zero issues and it works perfectly otherwise. 🙁 Just an unexpected large expense now.

LG Velvet is a 5 year old phone, it is not bad to start shopping for a new one as there is no more support from LG and the phone not getting more security patches

Winnipeg is not 2027. 2027 is for provinces other than Manitoba

if you read the post above, With Manitoba, they already started the decommission:
