The internet is very bad. My service keeps going in and out. The net stops in between and goes into either 4g or just stops entirely. Then resumes out of the blue. Have to keep switching on and off flight mode.

There are no network outages and resetting the network settings didn't help. The spotty internet is still going on.

check if there is any outage in the area:
https://www.telus.com/en/ab/outages
and try Reboot phone and Reset network settings
