VPN not working with PM cellular data

Hi there, 

I’m trying to connect my VPN to PM’s cellular data but it has been unsuccessful. I’ve reserved the APN, deleted the VPN app and re-installed, turned the e-sim on and off and nothing seems to work. Has anyone ever had this issue?

Yes, I do. I’ve upgraded my phone from iPhone SE to iPhone 17. And it is in fact Nord VPN. Thanks for sharing the thread! Very helpful although I’m not sure if I’ll be able to connect to the VPN now…

do you have an iPhone?

some mentioned it might have to do with IPv6 issue, 

but another mentioned the he has NordVPN and it works on iPhone 17 Pro Max but not 16 Pro Max.  So, I am not certain it is really a IPv6 problem.  But almost certain it has nothing to do with Public Mobile

first, this is not an PM issue, PM does not actively block VPN and I have been using without issue.

are you using NORD VPN? some seem to have problem with it

What you can do is to change the VPN Protocol on the app from Automatic to OpenVPN - TCP or WinGuard or try other protocol.
