On November 1 I changed plans. My current public mobile plan is $25 a month and I have unlimited Canada wide talk and text.
When I try to call out - local or long distance - it doesn’t seem to matter, I get the following message:
“you do not have an active long-distance ad on and this call is not covered by your plan”
it would seem that no calls are covered by my plan. There is money on my account. I have tried turning the phone off and turning it back on again

Check your self service account and what plan you are in.
if it doesn’t not updated to $25 plan communicate to moderator to fix this issue

Hello @Dalekonschuk ,
On November 1st did you change your plan from $15 to the $25 plan?
If you chose to change on your next Renewal Date, that is when the new plan will take affect.
Depending on when your renewal date is you could buy a $5 - 500 minutes add-on to get you through, if that is why you were changing plans, that is.
To change your plan immediately you need to contact the moderators to do so, put you lose out on what you already pre-paid on your current plan.

Did you choose to change immediately or did you postpone your change.
Click on your plan details to see.
If you didn't (choose immediate charge), please cancel your change then change it again to the new plan. You have to cancel it manually or it will still execute even if you change your plan now, which would cut your current cycle too short
If you did and after dialing 1 in front your call still doesn't go through, contact moderators https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Can you try putting a 1 in front of the number?
