Updating Credit Card Information

I closed the account for the credit card I have on file for my autopay. I wanted to update payment information using a card associated with an address in the US but this fails I guess because a Canadian post code is required (despite the small print stating "We accept credit cards...and Visa Debit cards that have been issued by the Canadian or American financial institutions and are associated with addresses in Canada or the U.S.")

Now when I try to use a different card associated with a Canadian address I am still unable to change the payment method either in the app or in the browser.

Assistance much appreciated. What will happen at the end of the month when my next auto pay fails? I do not want to lose my account and phone number.

Thanks all. The text I am referring to is still in the Update Card Information page in the iOS app. I actually am not in Canada at the moment but I can use a credit card registered to a Canadian address and have updated my Public Mobile account to that same address. It is not working at the moment but I will give it 24-48 hours. Fingers crossed.

You will lose service if payment is not made prior to renewal date. 
Your account will close, SIM stops working and you will lose your number after 90 days of nonpayment.

it says:
While American credit cards that are already registered can continue to be used, new registrations of American cards are not supported.

Public mobile stop accepting credit cards from American financial instituatins a while ago.  Where did you see the small print?  It should have been removed. 

As for updating your credit card inforamtion, the website is finicky.  You could try to clear cache first, incognito mode or a different web browser. May try to delete app and re-install app and try again.

@Sam_BFC  It’s important that the postal code on the account matches that of the postal attached to the credit card you’re using . Alternatively you can go to shoppers drug mart and buy payment vouchers for public mobile and load the funds *611 to resume services right away
