Unused talking minutes

I have 100 minutes of talking a month. If I don’t use them do they roll over to the next month or do I just lose them

No, you lose them. Only add-on roll over and only non-roaming add-ons.

Only add-ons carry on until used. It sounds like you have the $15 plan. No. It resets each term.

Edit: if it is the $15 plan then depending on when you got that plan, it might have all calls only 100 minutes. Otherwise it only limits outgoing calls.

@SherrieWeilerIf it is part of an add on you had purchased then it will just roll over until you used it up or until you close your account, ie leave it inactive for 90 days.
