People when switching over to new cell phone providers your phone should be unlocked!! Some cell phone providers will unlock for small fee but this December it's free of charge with your cell phone provider...

Here's the Thing:

EVEN IF, handsets are Unlocked, NOT all will have Compatible Frequencies.

Example, Moto G4, there are 4-6 Different Sub-Models of the Same phone, physically looks the same, BUT the innerds are different

Might not support LTE on 3 Sub-Models, or might not have all the frequencies for the 3G WCDMA stuff, so always CHECK the SKU # and compare on something like www.willmyphonework.org
