You can make outgoing caller ID blocking permanent using your dialer settings, or by dialing *31#
When blocking outgoing caller id by default, you can enable it per call by prefixing (ie *31#xxxyyyzzzz )
Return to to allowing outgoing caller id by default by dialing: #31#

The question is unclear, but I'll try to cover another topic that wasn't covered.
If you want your number hidden (to show as "unknown") when you call someone, there are a couple of ways to do it.
You can type *67 at the beginning of any number you are dialing *6714165555555.
You can also find the option in your phone app to hide it each time you dial so you don't need to worry about it.
If you only want to hide your number a few calls, *67 works well, but it doesn't work on 911 or most toll free numbers.

There's no need to request an unlisted number because Public Mobiles already aren't published. While Public Mobile does show your phone number during an outgoing call unless you block it (as mentioned by gpixel4 and gblackma), Public Mobile currently doesn't tell the receiving caller your name. Public Mobile phone numbers would already be the same in that sense as an old-style unlisted land number by not appearing in the (outdated) printed phonebooks. Fortunately at Public Mobile, there is no need to request this, nor is there an extra charge.

No @Swizzled your number will show up wheneber you call someone. And your name if they have caller ID like Rogers does, or you are in their contact list. Welcome to the community. Stay safe.

@Swizzled just block the callers that are annoying you. if you tap on the number, try and look for options to block the caller
