I received a text message from Public Mobile stating that they had "added a one-time 1GB" to my account, and to check it out at selfserve.publicmobile.ca but when I touch the link with my Cellular Data on, it says I have no internet. When I touch the link with Wi-Fi on it says the following:
selfserve.publicmobile.ca - Connection failed
Error code 20
The proxy failed to connect to the web server, due to TCP connection timeout.

I check to make sure that Public Mobile was my Network and my phone confirmed that I am "Registered on the Network"

Unfortunately, I already tried that earlier and I still cannot get on using the link from the text through WiFi or through data (just says No Internet)

@RandyWM the self serve has been down all eve. for most people hopefully it will be back soon

This Error Code 20 message is due to the Self Serve site being down at the moment. (I got the same error).
Hopefully the Self Serve site will be back up soon

@RandyWMIt has nothing to do with the phone.. the selfserve server is inaccessible to everyone right now.. there is no notice when it will be back. so just have to be patient.

No, I didn't have data yet. I am signed up to get data next month.
What is weird is that when I go to onto the website (here) and try the My Account tab (top right corner) I get the same message about being unable to access the website.

@RandyWM hi do a network reset see if that helps turn your phone off and back on

It's possible you received the message prematurely. Maybe the free data hasn't registered yet. I'd imagine it'll start working soon. Do you have data with your normal data plan? Was it all used up before you got the text from PM?
