My wife and I crossed border - her phone connected with AT&T and she got great service. My phone connected with T Mobile and I have little to no service.  I am unable to receive calls as I only have one bar while my wife has 4 bars.

if you need callsz try T-Mobile and change network mode to 2G

if you don't need calls as much and need data more, try both AT&T and T-Mobile, connect to LTE or 4G and avoid 5G

Try manually switching your network to AT&T

If that doesn't work, and your phone is NOT VoLTE enabled, you may have to switch it down to 2G if it's capable of that.
