I received a text from public mobile that I can get access in the US for as little as $10 but when I go to sign up the amount charged is $15.

@Acre - what more does the text from public mobile say? Can you provide the text? Access to calling, texting or/and data?
What did you select for $15? Note, if you are in the USA only ROAMING addons will work (not regular ones).
