Hello!
We are heading to the US for about 25 days. I will buy a US add-on ($30 for 15 days), which I understand should come into effect soon (24 hours?) after I buy it. Once that first add-on expires, can I buy another one while in the US?
Thanks for sharing your experience!

I'm with esjliv and DennyCrane on this too. I have not heard that this has changed. But I think wetcoaster has the best idea, indeed depending on the timing. Particularly for 25 days. But a preferred grandfathered plan complicates that.
@LillianR- The wait entails waiting for the 0/15 days counter items to disappear. I'm not certain how long that takes: 12 hours, 24 hours, past midnight eastern. Last time I was re-buying roaming the system went on maintenance so I couldn't verify all this. You got the buy a different one or ask support ideas already.

I have to be the one with the stupid questions...
When are you going, when is your renewal date and what plan are you on currently?
Is there a reason I'm missing not to switch to the $50 / 40GB Canada & US for the next payment cycle and immediately after renewal on the Can & US plan schedule another change at renewal back to a Canada wide plan? (grandfathered plan like $25 / 3GB, for example would make me go for add-ons... or awkward timing like crossing the border on day 13 of my plan...)

OK, thanks all for your ideas and solutions. It sounds like this is doable from the US.

@esjliv As far as I know that's still an issue. If OP wants back to back purchases of the same add-on they'll need to private message @CS_Agent to help them re-buy (once the first one expires). Alternatively they can wait 1 day to rebuy.
@LillianRIf possible I would time the purchase of the first one for late at night so you can message them when it expires and then it should be resolved by the time you wake up. You're only gone for 25 days anyway, so you won't need to maximize every hour. Just buy it the evening before you leave.

@LillianR - there used to be an issue with buying back-to-back Roaming addons of the same type. To avoid the issue, the 2nd Roaming addon could be a different type/bucket from the Roaming addons, OR you'd need to submit a ticket to CS_Agent to have them add and activate it.
Hopefully it is not longer a glitch, but just so you know the possibility.

Yes, you can after the first US Roaming add-on expires on the PM app or online. Just login your account and make your purchase but refresh your browser to make sure the Roaming add-on is showing in your account.

The add-on will activate immediately as soon as you use it so buy it as soon as you are about to be in the US.
You should be able to buy another one right after the other expires but if you have any issues customer service might have to assist you. Purchase can be made using the app or using the desktop website.
