US data

Hi! This month I’m heading to the US and Mexico so I bought a Can-US-MEX plan (55$) that said I would have 100Gb of data across the countries. When I got to the US today, I got a text saying that I needed to turn on my roaming to get data and that add ons were available for US roaming. Is there a reason that I’m not able to get data in the states or what that just a standard text and I can turn on roaming and use data without paying extra? Thanks!

@Cassandra4  That’s just a generic messages you get when crossing border nothing to worry about you have the right plan , be sure to turn in roaming thou and set phone to 4G/LTE not 5G and make sure your connection T mobile AT&T or Verizon . But if you phone it in the PM voLTE whitelist making calls will be difficult and you will need to rely on setting phone to 2G/3G and connect to T mobile

VoLTE white list

if your phone not on the list and 2G T mobile won’t work for voice you can always get text now app or what’s app and make calls that way

hi @Cassandra4

that is a standard text sent to every PM customers, with or without roaming addon or roaming plan

if you have the roaming plan, just turn on data roaming and enjoy the service in US/Mexico
