US add-on

I purchased a US add-on for data telephone and texting. I am in the US and the telephone does not work. Can someone help? Oh by the way, I turn the phone off and on as directed and still does not work. Data is on roaming is on.

My daughter just got the Canada US plan and she is not able to use her data in the US where she is going to school. Looking forward to suggestions on what to do to remedy this. I will get her try some of the suggestions already made. Will be great to hear if something works for you.

What type of phone do you have? It's likely a VoLTE issue.

Critical part to US roaming depends on T-Mobile/AT&T coverage and whether you can connect successfully onto either network.

If the phone is not connecting to T-Mobile/AT&T, change the Network Connection from Automatic to Manual and select and test both T-Mobile and AT&T and see which one you can connect.

With your voice calls issue, make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting.  And if it does not work, try to change the Network to T-Mobile ONLY, and change  Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls go through.

Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi
