I have two devices: one is my personal and uses a physical SIM, and has eSim compatibility - I used this device to activate my Public account to use as a second line for work purposes. I've decided to remove the eSim and activate a physical sim in an older phone I had, so I can further seperate my work/personal life.
On those occasions I forget my work phone, is it possible to simply activate the eSim on my personal phone to gain access to this account? Assuming my phone with the physical Public SIM is not turned on (I turn it off in the evening to reduce the amount of charging needs with so many devices).

HI @otoolerc
sorry, your plan won't work. For any Canadian carrier, one phone number can only ties with one sim. So, you cannot have a physical and a esim to link to the same phone number
in your case, you should setup call fowarding when not available or when unanswered to your other number

While you can use two different SIM cards in a dual SIM card phone, each phone number needs to be in a separate account with its own plan and you'll need to use a different e-mail address.

no, one account can only have one sim, whether it is physical or esim , just one
