I was billed for an automatic top-up which I was not aware of. I’d like to deactivate this automatic function and ideally be reimbursed for a service which I did not willingly and knowingly order

I cannot seem to find this anywhere in the app for previous subscribers. Any suggestions?

For new customers, autopay is turned on by default and there is a disclaimer advising customers of this during activation. To turn autopay off, log into the Public Mobile app. The setting is in Manage Subscription, Subscription Renewal. Tap on the Unsubscribe button.

@Suzie82 Go into the app, on the main page select manage subscription, at the bottom you will see subscription renewal (active), select that and then turn off. Unfortunately you did opt in to this when you signed up and entered your credit card details, you must have overlooked /missed it. I would be surprised if they refunded your money but you can try sending them a message at https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
