Traveling to Europe

I'm aware there is no service with Public for Europe. Can anyone recommend what I should do as I am with Public mobile currently?

I got an Italian eSIM from Iliad it’s 9.99€ and as long as I put money on it once a year It’s active. I have been twice to Italy and it is good.

@AngA , keep your Public Mobile SIM in the phone so that RCS texting continues to work.  Keeping the SIM in the phone will also be necessary to sustain the functionality of phone number based apps like whatsapp.

You can also use WhatsApp for free calling/texting when connected to wifi or your travel SIM data. Remember all parties must also have this app.

use travel esim or local data sim card

for calls, download VoIP app TextNow and you can make and receive calls and text using the app

But no woy to receive 2FA codes from banks.  So, you will need to arrange for email 2FA or use authenticator
