I need help transferring my phone number from lucky mobile to public mobile. How can I do that?

PM is all done online yourself. So you need to purchase a SIM first and activate the SIM on your computer. 
Remember to leave your Lucky SIM in the phone and wait for the text from Lucky confirming you are porting over to PM and reply with YES.

Once you replied, your Lucky SIM will continue to work until porting is completed. 
Power off your phone and swap the SIM.

You can pickup a PM SIM from any Telus/Koodo store. If you order from PM it may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

You can order a SIM from Canadian Cell Supplies online with faster shipping for $5 or from Amazon at slightly higher price.

Yiuou want to first confirm your number is eligible to port onto PM first here:

confirm your number is eligible to port into PM (it is a Koodo site because both Koodo and PM use the same Telus system):

Then, make sure your Lucky  account is still active.  Login to your Lucky account and make note of the account number

Next, get a Public Mobile sim card from

• local Telus or Koodo stores (call and confirm availabiliy before you go) 
• Amazon.ca:

• PM online https://www.publicmobile.ca/sim-card   (Delivery could take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks)

Once you have the sim card, activate your account at https://activate.publicmobile.ca/.  You will request to Transfer your exiting number instead of picking a new number.  Please provide your current phone number and the Lucky account number  as the porting info.

Once activation completed , still have Lucky sim card in your phone.  Lucky will send you a SMS and ask your permission for the porting.  You need to reply YES within 90 mins for the porting to complete

Once replied yes, you can put your PM sim card in a phone and wait for incoming calls to come.  Reboot your phone ever 30 mins and test incoming call from another line.  If incoming call reaches your PM sim card, then the Porting is completed
