I transferred from bell today. Followed all the steps. Got confirmation from public mobile that all was good. Instructed to restart my phone and id be good to go. I did that and I can use data and receive calls but I can not make outgoing calls. Any idea what maybe happening?

Outgoing calls shoudl have started working immediately upon opening your Public Mobile account. There is no wait time for that to start working. I suspect that this issue is unrelated to number porting. I would suggest opening a ticket using the chatbot to contact a Public Mobile customer support agent. https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

@Randyc Try putting 1 infront of the 10 digit contact and test it again if your not already

@Randyc Did you get a text message on your Bell sim to authorize the port out request? You must reply to this text within 90 mins to complete the port. If you already did that, everything should be fine within a couple of hours. If not, you might have to reach out to CS_Agent to reinitiate the port.
