I did not receive a text asking me to confirm YES to switch providers after I enrolled to Public Mobile

For corporate accounts, you need the company to authorize the request. Not sure what that entails. But did you first speak to someone from the company to do this?

Hello.
Yes, if it's a corporate account, you would have to provide that provider with a permission letter to break off from the group. You will have to ask your employer to provide you a letter with company letter head saying they give you permission to leave and port the number elsewhere. Once the other provider receives this, they will make note on the account and allow the port to happen.

SIM card still in phone I think issue is because previous provider was a corporate account. Could that cause problems?

there is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update. I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox. Please check and call them

Did you keep your old sim card in the phone? That must be inorder to receive the SMS.
Put back the sim and contact them and request the port again.
Or is your account with the current provider still active? It must be in order to port from company to company.

Hello @Jeannita24
Did you leave your other providers SIM card in the phone to get the text? You have 1.5 hours to say yes. You will have to contact PM to send another one. Please contact them via this link or I will send you a number to your mail box to contact.
