Once you've successfully signed up with pm, you can just use the link I shared with you before to transfer your telus number over. You don't need any help with it. This is why pm is self serve. It's super easy to do. Just download the pm app to your phone and continue on to step 5. Don't transfer over your number, get a temp one and continue sign up. I have done this for several people moving from telus to pm. They didn't need help.

@Eazy4life Number from Telus can be ported in
So, to make it easier, just choose a new number first to complete the subscription
after the line is activated, message support and ask them to help to port in the line. You can use the link in my earlier post to message support after the line is activated

Hello: I am on step five but it says invalid number. Its a telus number though

hi @Eazy4life you cannot get to Step 5 because you were not using PM app
after payment, you need to download Public Mobile app and login and complete the subscription using the app. Step 5 will be there with the app
if you still have problem, ask PM support agent to help

You really didn't specify if you wish to transfer your number to pm or to another service provider.
If you wish to transfer a number to pm, once you are set up on pm with a temporary number, you can log into your account and use this link.

If you are wishing to port out of pm, the other service provider will assist you with how they do it. Just know, your account with pm must be active and any time you've paid for will be lost.

do you want to transfer a number from another carrier to here?
just make sure that number is active and find out the account number
Then subscribe new account with the app. After payment step, you can then select to bring in your number and provide the phone number as well as the account number
After you complete the subscription, you still keep your old carrier sim card in the phone and wait for them to send you a text to confirm you are porting out. Reply yes within 90 mins. Then you can put your PM sim card in the phone and wait until you can receive inbound calls, which mean porting is done. While you are waiting for inbound calls, reboot every hour and test
