I’m about to give up my home phone which is with Roger’s.
How can I transfer that phone number to my cell phone (Public Mobile)

Can you clarify? You indicated that you renewed the landline with Rogers and you also indicated you cancelled your home phone.
Did you cancelled your home landline?
You can’t port over to PM if you cancelled service. It must be activate before you can port over to PM.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, because there is a possible delay of days for a transferred number to take effect, it is no longer an option as I had to renew the Rogers plan today. Home phone already cancelled.

@Catdude , this help article covers everything you need to know about number transfer. Landlines transfer requires different information to be supplied and a longer completion time. Be mindful that the line being transferred must be active.

if you already have an active Public Mobile account...using the app; log in and click ACCOUNT > scroll down to find TRANSFER PHONE NUMBER...then enter the number to be transferred.
adding...If using web version...log in to your account, scroll down to Profile and click it to find Transfer Number.
