@Jayandcourt the PM process is Suspended, then expired, the payment comes out at 2am est then the plan resets for the next 30  day cycle. Once your phone is working properly ignore it. Just check for you 611 payment thankyou text message tomorrow.

@gblackma On my last renewal the order was Expired then Suspended then Active.

There's also another thread with an irate customer wondering why their data gets reset before they expect.

Some time ago I had sent you and Tiana_V a long missive in pm about all the dates. pm-smayer97 has also commented. And here now with these irate customers.

The dates and labels thereof are all misleading which leads to that sentence being misleading. Why was that top date changed to begin with?

My 2019 renewal dates:
Jan 11 - 31 day month
Feb 10 - 28 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
Mar 12 - 31 day month - 2 days plus due to 28 day month prior
Apr 11 - 30 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
May 11 - 31 day month - same day due to 30 day month prior
Jun 10 - 30 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
Jul 10 - 31 day month - same day due to 30 day month prior
Aug 9 - 31 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
Sep 8 - 30 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
Oct 8 - 31 day month - same day due to 30 day month prior
Nov 7 - 30 day month - 1 day minus due to 31 day month prior
Dec 7 - 31 day month - same day due to 31 day month prior

It'll be the 5th in Apr.
It takes about 5 years to wrap around and come back to your activation day. I activated on the 17th in May 2018.

(assuming no immediate plan changes or suspensions for lack of payment or past the normal renewal date)

All the prepaid services have 30 day cycles not month.

Also for all the prepaid plans the payment is due before the cycle starts, kinda like vending machine.

They changed it recently and I think it's a mistake, it should say 'by 11.59 the day before'.

@Alan_K is that the case?

Thanks

@kselmak You've got the right idea. The team and I are aware of the date discrepancy and are working on it!

Time to get rid of public mobile

And now for June it is dropping from the 18th like this month to the 14th so that's 4 days shorter

Yeah my lucky mobile is 15th of every month never changed so even though it states month to month it's actually every thirty days

Freedom Mobile (even back in the days of Wind) and Chatr (among some others) have always done exactly one month billing cycles for prepaid plans.

Which is stupid cause every other company is a month and yeah it switches every few months

Telus Mobility has also always done prepaid plans on 30 days cycles.

Because that date is lying. This was a silly change the company did a few months ago. The date is actually your new term date. That sentence should really say top up before 11:59pm ET the day before the shown date. If you have autopay or sufficient funds then don't worry about it.

Public Mobile really should just get rid of that sentence. Even before this nonsensical change, the website would display that message after passing midnight on the day that you're about to renew.

But it doesn't so they should honour it and my other phone is lucky mobile and they do from the 15th to the 15th

This is a 30 day term here...not a month. It will not be the 18th every month.

Does your service still work ?  Sometimes it can take a few hours on renewal for the status to change back to active ?  If you have service then ignore the status.
