Hello, Recently, my plane was renewed, and then I found the price is increased than before.
I'm using this plan below
I'd paid around $135 for 90days including $9 rewards and tax, but this time I paid around $142.
I didn't get any notice from public mobile.
I'm wondering that if this is overcharged. If it is right, How can I refund the overcharged money?
I would appreciate replies. Thank you.

@Korth a few people have made that (false) argument about autopay
The *only* reason wireless code mandates 30 days notice on postpaid is essentially so you can not be "screwed"
Since you used service first then pay later
On prepay (even with autopay) you are still paying beforehand
Hence 0 protection
As company policy Telus usually does give at least 30 days notice, but there is no requirement for them to do so

But it seems a little blurry when AutoPay is involved. It automatically charges/renews the plan. But from the customer's perspective, it's an implicit "understanding" that the next bill will be the same as the last one.
Although I wouldn't be too concerned about this. Public Mobile has dropped the ball a few times on other details and they've blundered with a "surprise" price increase in the recent past, but from (what I've seen) they generally give notice of impending price increases well in advance. And in any event they communicate the price increase quite clearly, it's never just quietly added to your next prepaid bill. Hope they don't change this in the future.

@hsh0917, unless you did a plan change the price will carry across renewals. It is conceivable for the same plan to have a new higher price while you are grandfathered to the older price. For grandfathered plans, if prices were to rise, you would have to be notified in advance.

@hsh0917 $142 seems to be the correct amount with tax for the $135 plan. During your first renewal, you probably had an extra AutoPay credit that you might have earned during activation and now it's only the reoccuring AutoPay rewards ($6).

further details might help but quick math (135 -9 ) +tax =142ish
edit: for your past renewal if you had double auto pay (135-6-6-3) +tax = 135ish
