@ShawnC13 wrote:@andreyblanco, is this your first account or do you also have another number already active on PM? If this is a second account I have seen this error message for other users when they use the same email address. Each number must have it's own email address. You can use alias's with gmail such as yourname@gmail.com and yourname+wife@gmail.com and that would be considered a separate email even though they would both go to your account.
I think for this issue, the problem is not with the username. It is in the second activation page on number porting. The first step involves checking whether the number is eligible for porting. Recently, the self serve portal has been squawking about invalid phone numbers. Repeat attempts using a different browser seems to overcome the glitch.

Hopefully these browser suggestions work for you OP.

This is definitely a browser related quirk. I had a friend run into this issue recently. Using chrome browser worked.

I had a similar error when I was creating my account. Try creating your account in Incognito if you're using chrome, or try another browser. That allowed me to create my account with no errors. Otherwise, if that doesn't work, you can send a message to the moderators.
Good luck!
