I was trying to put a number a my referral during activation. I got an error:
"The number entered does not belong to a valid Public Mobile Subscriber."
I think the reason is my friend's number was ported a week ago. I have his origial number before number porting, can I use his original public mobile number?

My ticket is still in process I guess... It seems to be a bug very complicated to fix.
I really hope they will fix it, because I certainly won't reffer anyone anymore if I realize this whole '"reffer a friend" thing only works under very precise circumstances...
I'm also starting to question the support's effectiveness, as it's very hard / long to get in touch with a mod.

I acutally found it and entered it in the referral field. I was able to sbmit the activation form, but I don't see any "referral reward" in my account...
Seems like I'll have to get it fixed no matter what!

Nope, if I input my number in the "referral" field, it won't let me submit the activation form. I'd need to select "no referral" then try to get it fixed by the support team. What a bummer.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm still waiting for a moderator to get back to me. It's been more than 24 hours now.

Any idea who I should contact (moderator) to get this fixes ASAP? I need to activate my girlfirend's SIM card before her current Fido plan starts a new month...

I did, but I don't remember what this number was... I only kept it for about 24 hours, then ported my Fido number.

I've got the same problem when trying to add my number while activating my girflriend's SIM card.
I've sent a private message to moderator.
Can I still go ahead and activate her card without any referral? Will moderator be able to add me as the referral afterward?
