Good morning/afternoon/evening all,
A newbie here. A mod recently helped me with an issue that I PM'ed her. Other than thanking her back with a message, how do I actually "thank" a mod for helping?
From what I can gather, there is a ranking system within the community based on active participation and helpful solutions provided, so someone could get credits in the forms of Bravo or accepted solution, which then turn into rewards. Does this reward system also apply to mods?
I PM'ed a mod and one of them helped me to resolve my issue very quickly. But because I communicated via private message, it is not a post with "Bravo" or solution buttons I could click.
I did a brief search in the community posts but didn't see related information... Is there a way of saying "Thanks" other than a "Thank you" note?
"Thanks" 🙂
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hey @mli,
Happy to hear that someone was able to quickly assist you.
To be honest, a thank you does suffice and we greatly appreciate the positive feedback. As mentioned, you can also mark your posts as resolved and mention/tag the mod in your thread, but it really depends on you 🙂 I personally think this post is great in showing your appreciation ❤️
Thank you,
Mary

Great to hear you are pleased with mods.
Just tag the person who helped you. For example @mli
They will come to this thread and see that you thanked 🙂

It is great that you appreciate the work of the moderators. They really do work hard to assist us with our issues.
To my understanding, the bravo system and the rewards system do not apply to them as they are employees of Public Mobile. Therefore, it would have no benefit. I would suggest sending a private message as suggested, or if you really wanted to publically thank the mod, you could make a thread and tag the mod in it using @modname.
It is always humbling to see people appreciate customer service reps!

Haha, I think saying thank you should suffice since you can't really do anything with private messages. Only way to know is to ask the moderators yourself. Love how courteous you are!

You could probably just search their name in the forum then bravo one of their random helping posts? I am not sure if they have a ranking system but I'd assume they do based upon bravo/solutions accepted.
