I had problems when I ported too. But Public Mobile agent helped me and I got it all resolved within the day. Please open ticket
I ported my number around. Although this place has no live support to talk to, they got things fixed the quickest

Yesterday when I wasn't able to do anything, I read to make sure the original carrier sim was still active too until the switch was complete. So I did and then could receive calls and texts.
I have followed your advice and did deactivate old Sim with PM as primary and restarted phone. But no ability to send texts still.

@Harley07 this is it an issue with PM, it is not unusual after a porting
You won't lose any text by just clearing cache, but don't clear data if you want to keep the text
To clear the Messages app cache on a Samsung Galaxy S24, open Settings, tap Apps, select the Messages app, tap Storage, and then select Clear cache at the bottom of the screen
If that does not work, message PM CS agent and ask them to re-provision the sim. Private message CS Agent at:

This is exactly why it took me so long to decide to switch to PM...worried about the transition. I'll never get my wife and daughter to switch now.

Yes, 2 times. Once at 2:30pm yesterday and again at 9pm yesterday as per suggestion.

No other Sims and PM is my primary. I've restarted my phone (Samsung 24FE) . Still no texting ability. Where do I reset network settings ga or clear cache in my messages? Does that mean I'll lose alm my message history?

Make sure old sim card is removed and old eSIM disabled. Make sure PM sim is enabled and set as Primary
Reset Network Settings after a device reboot
And if you have Android, try to clear Message app cache first. If same, try clear app data as well

Did you reply to the sms from your previous provider? Removed your previous SIM and enabled the Public Mobile SIM?
