I have the 18$ 1Gb plan that I was forced to upgrade to from the 15$ plan should I get this one dollar more for 1 extra Gb

I checked my account the 19$ plan says 1Gb who knows

That's an ok offer.

I was also forced to the $18 plan recently myself. 

I have not received any text yet.

Check your account, you might have better offers. Technically,  it's more money, but better value if you need more data.

and for everyone who are on the $18 plan, even you don't get the text, login My Account and go to Change Subscription page and you will see that $19 plan for 2GB

yes, if you need the data, the $19 for 2GB is a great one.
