Temporary number and Port in

Hello, I have a general question about porting in.

 

For example, I activate and get a new temporary phone number from number pool. After a couple days, am I able to change my temporary number to my real number from other carrier?

@Mindy208 You can port in any time but you have to keep paying the old carrier the longer you wait. Waiting until later to ports gives you time to make sure Pubic works for you but there's no refund if you decide Public isn't for you.  You want to be sure before porting to Public because that cancels the old carrier's service.

If all your friends have your old number in their contacts and if you are happy with your old number. I would suggest that you port over your old number.

You can pick a real new number pool and you have the option to change it 4 times in a month.

 

@dust2dust brought up a good point about member private messaging you with their referral code so you can report them on the dropdown menu.

You can get a $10 credit on your 2nd bill only if you post for one on this Community.

Yes. Use the change number function in the profile tab. The old service needs to be active. Put the old sim back in and confirm the transfer text.

Don't forget to use a referral code. If you're already receiving some then those people are violating the rules of the place.

tried use browser from computer,and clear cache and cookies and use one page inPrivate mode,

or safari on private mode,To Login Page

you will get verification code by email or SMS
and inserting the 6 digit number and not press anything
just wait a 5 second automatically be login,,

and changed.

 

if still can't then contact to support team by  CS_Agent  to them can check it for you.
