I am not that techy so please be patient and explain like I am 5. I am unable to activate my iphone on the network. I used an eSim but when I try to scan the QR code I get a message Unable to activate sim, try again or contact my carrier for assistance.
When I send a text I get the message that it is undeliverable. When I make a phone call I get a recording saying that I am not activated on the network. I know there must be settings that I need to change in the phone itself but I am having no luck trying to do that.
Please help.

Did all of this. Still cannot send texts. For some reason I don’t have the MMS button on my iphone 13 pro. Could that be the problem?

Thanks- I do have the latest iOS and I followed your advice on the settings and powering off/on but still cannot send texts to non-apple phones.

hi @tds123 the text problem is an iPhone setup problem
make sure Send as text and MMS messaging are enabled. If already enabled, maybe turn them both off, then reboot phone and turn it back on again
and make sure iOS is updated to the latest

Strange. it seems that outgoing and incoming calls are finally working but my outgoing texts on the mobile network are not. Only iMessage. Data works ok too.

It seems to be yet I cannot text people using phones other than iPhone and I cannot make or receive calls. Customer service was in touch but have gone quiet. Are they not here on weekends? I’m beginning to regret my decision to use Public Mobile.

Ok. Try this. Go into your network settings, find the PM eSIM and choose that as the primary and then reboot. See if that works.
