Taking over someone's plan

Hi all,

I have the $120/90 days for 12 gigs promo from a while back. I will be switching to Koodo soon but my husband wants to take over my current plan. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Amy

What I heard for migrationi offers was that Koodo would want you to have a number ported in.

Having said that I read that you don't have to port in the PM number to Koodo.

If you port in a competitors number such as Rogers or Bell parent company Telus wins by increasing market share.

I think your husband have to take over your number and you just open a new account at Koodo.

@aernest if you're taking one of the migration offers to move to Koodo, then technically no.  The way that works is you are supposed to port your Public Mobile number to your new Koodo account once you receive or pick up the SIM card and it's activated.  When you do that, your Public Mobile account will be closed automatically and not available for your husband.
