I need a data plan for my Ipad 3G for 1 month while I am out of wifi range. If I buy the $40 plan and put the sim card in my Ipad for data use only, can I then move the SIM card to my Google Pixel and continue the $40 service plan going forward?

Yes, the Public Mobile sim card is transferable from device to device. Your devices should be unlocked, they cannot be locked with the previous carrier.

@geopublic the only issue with this option, is the tablet will think its on wifi and might download updates. Not sure if the iPad has a metered connetion mode to stop downloads/updates.

@Grahamk Another option is to use the sim in your Pixel and turn the hotspot on so that your ipad can connect.

@GrahamkYes as long as you have a voice plan then you can have voice service on your Google Pixel.
