Hi everyone,
I transferred from Virgin around 30 mins ago.
Does anyone know how long it usally takes for the transfer to go through?
I have not advised Virgin, as I want to keep the same number.

Typically within 30 minutes but something 2 to 4 hours is possible. You will get a text from Public Mobile when the port has finished.
If it does not work after 24 hours there is most likely an issue with the port. If this is the case , contact the moderators in private message .

In order your Virgin number to be port to PM, your Virgin number must be active. Therefore, don't tell Vigin that your are switching to PM. Your Virgin account will be cancelled after port out.
Porting a mobile number will take couple hours to 2 days.

@mathieugf It all depends on when Virgin will release the number to PM. Just continue to use your Virgin sim until it stops working. Once that happens it means that the port is 100% complete. Just insert your PM card and everything should start working from that point on.

Usually from 30 minutes to 2 hrs! You should get a text from public mobile when the port is complete
