Is it possible to switch phones with your public mobile sim? My new phone says it's compatible and not locked to anyone but won't accept my sim.

Select the right size. Your sim is a tri punch card and newer phones take tha nano size so just punch it out to make it smaller.

Hey @Tayshakes ,
It is definitely possible to switch phones. As long as the phone is compatible.
What phone do you have? Do you get any message?
Can you give us more details on what happens when you insert the sim?
HERE is the link where you can check if your phone is compatible with the BANDS
(Once you open the page Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click
Cheers

You should be able to put the sim in your other phone as long as it is compatiable with PM and unlocked.
Try restarting your phone.
You may need to setup the PM APN settings if you use data.

Yes it's as easy as taking sim out and putting it in the other.
Are you saying its a different size sim?? The newer sims come with 3 in one for the different sizes...is yours one like that ? Where the sim is regular size you can remove pieces to bring it down to micro or nano??
If not you'll have to buy a new sim. Walmart $10 plus province taxes . .
Then you change your sim in your account...Green arrow on pic.
Or is your issue something else? What is exactly the issue please explain?

Yes it's possible to switch a SIM card to a different phone. Depending on the model of phone, there could be band compatibility issues. The phone will not report such issues. You find out by trial and error out check the available bands on the phone first.
