Hi there, I am currently on chat - r network but I would like to switch to the limited to freedom customers promotion for 4gb a month. Is this possible ? Thank you 🙂

to add on what to @QTPie said. It technically is possible, but its an issue with timing. You will need to get on a cheaper freedom mobile plan tomorrow (assuming stores are closed today, or close to closing), and then you would need to order a public mobile sim card. You would then need to activate the public mobile sim. Who knows if the Sim will arrive on time, you may need to find one from a community member as well, and then port over your number from freedom to public mobile upon activation

That would mean you technically have two days to complete all of this as the promo ends July 6th. You are essentially paying over $130 to take advantage of this promo, so you will need to think if its truly worth all of the costs and time, just to get this plan.

Getting temp freedom plan doesn't seem an issue. Issues starts how do you gonna get public mobile plan activation. Only way you to get a plan first find a sim try kijiji and stuff if you able to find a sim let say today or tomorrow then you can port it over. But you need a sim first. Also public mobile won't honor this time like the way they offered falls promo.
You have to get it activated by July 6th before 11.59pm. Once you in the system then its all good doesn't matter if porting get stuck or system glitches after you activate your SIM.

It is possible in the technical aspect that yes, you can purchase a freedom plan and port your number over to Public Mobile right away.

The problem lies in timing. The promo ends July 6th and I'm not sure if you'd be able to receive a SIM card from Public Mobile and do the whole porting process in time before the promo ends.

Somebody else on the forum could have better knowledge in terms of rather if Public Mobile will honour the promo even if you don't complete the porting process on time.

Just trying to give you a fair warning before you jump the gun and buy that freedom plan. Believe me, you don't wanna get stuck with freedom.

Yes. What you can do goto freedom store get a sim and activate a plan cheapest one 25 dollar then port to public mobile once everything settle down then you can port your chatr number.
