Swapped my plan, now can't send or receive pics

So last month I upgraded my plan to one with more data and now as the title says, I can't send or receive pics when texting. I suspect it might have something to do with my previous plan only having 3g and this one having 4g but I've genuinely got no idea. I've tried resetting my mobile network settings a few times and configuring it with the settings I"ve found on here and other places but have no luck and am at my wits end with ideas. Anyone here have any thoughts or suggestions?

Seems that for whatever reason the MMSC was set to an IP and the port to a different one. Not sure when it would've kicked in or whatever but it seems to be working now.

Switching plans should have nothing to do with sending or receiving pictures.  The 3 or 4g is just for speed. 

It could be your APN settings.  Check out this to see if that could be the reason. 

See if your phone has the following. If not, delete and add the below 

APN: sp.mb.com

MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc

MMSC proxy: mmscproxy.mobility.ca

MMS port: 8799

MCC: 302

MNC: 220

APN Type: default,supl,mms

                             or default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
