Is it possible to suspend an account for a period of time to retain the phone number? Or is there a cheap plan with no data just to hold the number? Thanks.
Our son will be in Africa for 2 years. But I wouldn't expect to suspend it for free that long. I thought it would be nice for him to have the same number when he returns. I see there is a $20 a month plan. Wondering if there was a very basic plan. Like one for younger kids with no data.
Well @Piggypie if it's for 2 years, then I'd recommend this site as it's much cheaper.
hi @Piggypie there is. no more plan with no data now. You can login to My Account and see what is the cheapest option you have by checking Change Subscription page
and generally if you Re going away for 6+ months, it might be cheaper to port the account to a VoIP provider to park the number and go back to. mobile carrier later

If you turn off autopay, it will suspend your account up to 89 days from when it suspends. You will keep your number and plan if you renew on the 89th day.
