I switched to TEUS Mobiltiy last February, taking advantage of Public Mobile offer TP2P25.
The subsequent administrative Public Mobile & TELUS F#%$K UP is quite amazing.
Having removed & replaced my sim card - I have now realized that it's impossible to Suspend your Public Mobile Account; moreover, it;s also impossible to remove a pre authorized Credit Card. Seems NO CONNECTIVITY is possible between the two separate TELUS business platforms. CRIMINAL.
Once you successfully transfer your Public Mobile number to Telus; your Public acct is "supposed" to be deactivated automatically. As you found...that's not always the case. Just use the link I sent and they'll be happy to refund or credit your Telus acct for any charges after the transfer to Telus. Watch your Community in box for when they respond to you..

we can't but when you message Customer Support with your request...they'll do it...

If you're leaving Public Mobile for another provider and taking your number with you...your Public Mobile account is automatically deactivated when you transfer your number to new provider successfully.
