Support Transferring number

Hi there,

I followed the app instructions to port my number over.  Using my IMEI and phone number.  This was unsuccesful.  I've trieed submitting a ticket through the chat bot but it just does the never ending circle when trying to sign in.  Can someone help me reset my transfer request so i can use my previous account number instead?  Or is there a number i can call to help get my number trasnferred?

I called the porting number and they said my account isn't active.  They suggested I get a temporary number before they can port anything over.  I've been trying to submit a ticket but I always get an error XXX code.   Is there any rep that I can speak to?

Here is how you do it via the website. I'd strongly suggest you try this first before calling anyone.

How to port number from “Blank” to Public Mobile

First, make sure your number can be ported by checking on this link

Or log in to your Public Mobile account

Then on your right side you’ll see this box. Click on Transfer Phone Number.

Then enter the number you want transfer and continue to next step

NOTE: Keep your old providers SIM card inside the phone until you get the confirmation text. Say YES. But wait just a bit longer until you no longer see your old provider's name up top. Once it’s gone, try making a call to test. If you can not make a call using your old providers SIM, the transfer has gone through.

it is always better to use account number.  IMEI always have trouble

there is a porting team to call to update them with account number.  Will message you the number.  Please check. but it is now closed, call tomorrow morning instead
