On the Subscription & add-on screen, it should show you your current plan and upcoming plan, does it mention the $45 plan? It might show a Cancel Plan Change button. Or post the screenshot and we can help

Thanks, I didn't see the "change subscription" on the subscription screen. Tried it and still can't access anything that brings me back to a mid-$20 plan. This change came out of the blue ... very annoying. I'll try the ticket-agent thing again.

Hello @ESDOLL1
Now that you've actually explained it, now we know how to help you. If you log into your account, go to change subscription, you will see "Upcoming Changes" or something like that. Just cancel it. September 21st hasn't happened yet. UNLESS, it changed August 21st?? If this is the case, then yes, you'd need to contact support to try to resolve it.
Log into your account, when there, on your left hand side you will see the Message Centre. A new window will pop up on the right side of the screen. (If you have a pop up blocker on your browser, please disable it for Public Mobile). Click on Start Chat. Enter Contact Us and follow the prompts to a CS Agent.

My 25.00 plan was replaced with a 45.00 one, effective Sept 21. See my responses to other suggestions. I can't find a way to cancel that automatic(?) upgrade.

Neither. I had the minimum 25 per month plan and now received notice that my plan is 45 per month effective Sept 21. I had no communication with PM other than a recent purchase, with points, of temporary roaming and data (which seldom worked where I was in Idaho).

Highly unlikely.
Either you accepted some kind of PM offer or you got charged $5 for using 3G network.
PM will NOT upgrade/downgrade your subscription out of blue.

hi @ESDOLL1 what plan you have ? how much was it and how much now?
PM had some price hike for just couple plans but that was many months ago
but some got a $5 3G Legacy network charge for using older phones. please use the IMEI checker here and confirm if your phone is on the whitelist or not

What upgrade? Is that a $5 extra charge? If it is the $5, it is not an upgrade but a charge for you still have a phone that is not VoLTE compatible with PM
Tell us more about the "upgrade"

My subscription has been upgraded without my choosing. How can I cancel the upgrade?
Hello @ESDOLL1
Public Mobile is a self serve service. The plan can not go up without you intervention. UNLESS, if you look at your invoice, do you see a 3G service charge? If so, that's not a plan fee, that's because you have an outdated phone.
Which plan did you have before and what plan do you have now? OR, is it indeed the 3G charge?
If it is the 3G charge, what phone are you currently using with Public Mobile?
