On July 31st, my credit card was charged for my monthly amount and I have the bill showing this on this public mobile app in my account. Yet today I received this text:
“Public Mobile here,
Please note your subscription has been placed on hold due to an unresolved issue with your payment.
To resume your subscription, simply log into the Public Mobile app or My Account to update your payment details. Alternatively, you can dial *611 to make your payment.”
Was this texted to me in error?

I could this text also, with similar timelines with your account. My plan renewed successfully July 31 and then got the text today. By chance, did you also change plans on July 31. Like @JAG55 , I also did a plan switch. Likely a glitch in the system. As long as your plan is working, ignore the text.

Hi Mellyvb,
My wife and I both received this same message and we weren't sure what this was for. We updated our data service from 15GB to 30GB starting this month and thought that this might have something to do with it. Service still works and it looks like that payments went through. Not sure why this text was sent?

Yes. If your services are working then ignore it.
